Up and Away (Original Soundtrack) - Pico 8
Oh, what a sweet and wonderful experience!
The reddish sea of clouds, the soothing music, and the sound of the balloon burners echoing in the air there was a nice atmosphere and very interesting.
And I was so moved when I finally arrived after collecting flowers along the way, imagining my grandmother's joy.
I am a grandma's child, and I have memories of going alone to my grandma's house, who lives far away, and my eyes lit up as those memories were evoked.
It was a wonderful experience, thank you for your wonderful work, meow~!
Such a cute little game! Love the visuals and the music. gameplay is a little boring, but I think that adds to the experience. Very relaxing
Music and visuals are great! I also liked how you implemented the air flow mechanic, but the journey was waaaay too long. AND IT WAS KINDA-ISH STRESSFULL!?!? Like, there's noting interesting to see in the clouds. All you do is try to circulate between air flows, trying to find the right one, and the most "epic" part that the wind can blow you back. I mean, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't such bore and stressful experience to fly between islands... >=-F imo, it wasn't relaxing AT ALL, lmao
Also, about the "average" session. I think it took me like ~15-20 minutes? And that's because I didn't read the directions, figuring out mechanics by myself lol. But half an hour? For such a short game it should be a crime.
This game was such a boring stress, wouldn't recommend it. (Honestly, it's only playable for visuals and the music) Ross McCormick, jail time >;L
